Special Prayers Needed for Arizona Lacrosse Family
We ask our Brophy lacrosse families to reach out to the Wein Family, Mike, Rachel and their infant son, Brady. Coach Mike Wein, Papi as he is fondly called, has been a fixture in the Arizona lacrosse community for many years. He has been an assistant Coach with high school lacrosse programs at Chaparral, Saguaro and Chandler. He has been active with Lax Locker clinics, Arizona Starz, West Coast Starz and Wild Card Starz programs. Coach Wein and his wife, Rachel’s, 4 month old son, Brady, has recently been diagnosed with AML-Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Papi has given so much in his very unique way to many of our players and it is our turn to return the love! Some of our players have already been active in fundraising efforts for the family. Please keep the Wein family in your thoughts and prayers. . If you would like to read more or post your wishes for the Wein family click here or check out azlax.com.

Community Service - Blanket Drive/Fall Paint-a-thon
Thank you to all players and parents who helped with the Blanket Drive. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Mark Jones who helped coordinate this activity for our club!
The Lacrosse Club will participate in the Brophy Fall Paint-a-thon in fullfillment of our Club's community service requirement. Parents and players are encouraged to sign up at the scrimmage this Saturday afternoon. Parents are needed to transport non-driving players to designated homes that have requested help from the Paint-a-Thon project. This annual event is a real blessing for elderly and shut-in folks in our city whose houses need a fresh coat of paint. Be here at Brophy on Saturday the 15th at 7:30am. We finish up at noon that day.
Brophy Paint-a-thon
