HEAD COACH

Position Description: Brophy Lacrosse Club is recruiting for a Varsity head coach. Our program has advanced to one of the premiere club teams in the West with State Championships in 2007 and 2008.

 

• The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and in-depth knowledge of the game from previous participation as a collegiate player (preferably 4 years at D1-D3 level) and coaching at the High School or collegiate level.
• Team development alongside individual player development must be a vision of this new Coach, who will control on-field aspects of the Club and work with an established Board regarding off-field aspects.
• Other desirables include the ability to organize a dedicated coaching staff, understand the integration of players through our 2 junior varsity programs transitioning to Varsity, communicate effectively with the Brophy population of students/parents/administration, and embrace the philosophy of the Positive Coaching Alliance. 
• Being a role model for our student athletes in the Jesuit tradition and developing their athletic potential in the spirit of competition will be essential.
