Co-Curricular Participation Policy and Student Academic Performance
Per Brophy College Preparatory policy on Co-Curricular Participation as it relates to student academic performance, Bronco Lacrosse Club players will be subject to the following review:
Part I
Each semester is broken down into 4 grading periods. Each period is approximately 4 weeks in length.
Part II
At the end of the first grading period, students who are receiving an F or 2 D's or more will not be eligible to participation in their co-curricular activity for a period of 7 days. The 7 day period will generally begin on the Monday following the posting day, or as defined by the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs.
Part III
At the conclusion of the 7 day period, all students are permitted to return to their activity regardless of their performance.
Part IV
At the end of the second grading period, students who are receiving an F or 2 D's or more will not be eligible to participate in their co-curricular activity for a period of 7 days. At the conclusion of the 7 day period, students' grades will be reviewed again. Students who are receiving an F or 2 D's or more at the end of the 7 day period will not be eligible to participate in their co-curricular activity for another 7 day period. This process of weekly review and restriction will continue for the remainder of the semester.
